Alister Moran and James Moran are the principals and are responsible for the operation of Moran Legal Services. Alister attended Sacred Heart College (Auckland) before commencing his tertiary education to become a Chartered Accountant at the University of Otago. Realising he enjoyed studying business law papers at the University of Otago as part of his accounting degree, he continued his studies in law, where he graduated with a first-class honours degree at the University of Waikato. After four years practising the law, working for two medium to large-sized law firms in Tauranga, Alister founded Moran Legal Services in 2016.
